Narrative of the Young Shepherd

At the center of the captivating rolling meadows, resided a shepherd boy. His existence was unadulterated, simple, and honest. His only responsibility was to care for his herd of ewes.

Their low murmuring and the rustling of the breezes among the single tree on the mountaintop were his only companions. Day upon day, guarding his wards instilled in him a sense of quiet fulfillment.

But, there were at times moments of isolation, when the shepherd boy would pine for company. During one such occasion from sheer boredom, the shepherd boy devised a naughty scheme.

Frustrated and alone, the boy battled against the wolf but managed to protect only few of his flock. Devastated, he returned to the village only to be met with a lesson on honesty and the repercussions of crying wolf.
